oil change= lower pressure
oil change= lower pressure i changed my oil from 20-50 to 10-30 both were valvoline high mileage oil. but from making the switch, my idle oil pressure went from 20-22psi hot to 18psi hot. should i be worried now? or keep the 10-30?
i have 40psi at 2000rpm and 45psi at 4000rpm.

The thinner Oil is going to give you a lower pressure, that's a given. Looks like you should be good, mine with 10W-30 is a bit more than a hair below the half way mark hot.
yea, i was paranoid about the gauge, because it bounces a little on idle. im thinking the ****** is off by 5psi anyways because the stock gauges are ****. i may hook a mechanical autometer one up later on after i rebuild.
