I would find it hard to believe that Chevy would have a different starter for the LT1 and LT4. Maybe different years had different starters; the flywheel and external block are the same. Cam, heads, intake, etc. are different. I looked at my shop manual and no indication of a difference in starters. Just my two cents

Well I believe this was a Grand Sport specific deal since it only had the LT4 in production.

Or the Collectors Edition, or the LT4 30th Ann. Camaro Z28, and there is a Fire Bird version I believe..

Some SS cars had the LT4 along with some Hawks.

For those that are thinking about ditching the A/C, with the A/C gone you can get to all of the plugs on the passenger side from the front under the car, just have to snake you arm alllll the way back, its a pain but once you do it a few times the only pain is getting the threads started.

I get #6 and #8 from the top no problems..just reach back there and get 'em.

what for headers do you have? my edelbrocks I could with the long tubes I cant the tubes a so much bigger it takes up more room.

Pacesetter non-emissions LT's, 1 3/4" Primaries. There is alot of room back there, I have a Panel where the AC Box was.
