Default 1.7 Rockers on an LT1?

I looked for this on a search and found a dyno graph of someones bolt on car with Scorpian 1.7's, but I didnt find anything else. Could you run a set of 1.7's on stock LT1 heads and cam safely assuming you replace the springs, retainers and pushrods?

are you swapping the cam also? If you are watch your lift because 1.7s will make it a wilder than listed cam. most cam specs are at 1.6 or 1.5 ratio. If you are sticking with your stock cam then you would be safe assuming you change the springs and retainers and locks.

Yes.

Do a search on camaroz28.com or corvetteforum.com you will find plenty of people with 1.7RR.

I had them on my bolt-on Z when i held the bolt-on record.

I ran hot cam springs ($30.00). Worked great, i noticed a car and a half gain in the top end on the street.

I need to sell them, they have been sitting around for a while. Interested??
