Destroyed it
Then I was highly disappointed I spent $560 on a clutch.
I just wonder if the $200 clutch kit uses the LT1 pressure plate though.
I'm sure you can order the LT4 plate seprate probably though, I think there is more to the McLeod twin disk though, something has to be way different, it costs more than double of the other clutches.
It is my understanding that the LT4 pressure plate comes with most clutch kits including the cheap one I mentioned. LT1 pressure plate is rarely used anymore. There is a difference in the thickness of the fingers, and there is a stamped line each LT1 finger if i remember right. All you would have to do is look at it at the store.
All of the pressure plates from the big name clutch kits just slap some nice paint on it.

My brother says he thinks the car feels smoother now that I am running the SLP flywheel, clutch feels good too, pedal just seems really light though.
What was going on with all the weights on the pressure plate that was in the centerforce kit? Noticed the pressure plate we pulled(the centerforce) had weights on it, the plate from Hays did not???
Just got in at 4am this morning, PA to FL drive, no issues.
Didn't think the SLP flywheel would make a huge difference, but it does feel a lot better. Seems to take no time to see that shift light go off in 5th.
