Need some LT1 tuning help

Got a 94 LT1, stock cubes, and trying to get a baseline tune so I don't wash down the rings at idle before it gets to the dyno. MILD intake runner and bowl work, 280 XFI cam (230/236, .570/.576), 42 pph injectors.
Need some idea where to go with Tunercat so it'll be minimally driveable, and YES, injector constant was already changed to reflect the 42s (but no other tweaks to the injector tuning, just raw size). Right now it's so rich at idle, I'm adding fuel to the oil

Paul, if you just want to get it to the dyno, raise the injector constant a couple of lbs to lean it down until your tuner can tune it for you. There are a minimum of four fueling tables that need tweaked, and I have found using 42 lbs with the Ford injectors comes out right with the factory injector offset table, after the rest are corrected. I don't fudge the injector constant to lean one with a cam, that is just a crude hack. It would be OK to do temporarily, however, to get you to your tuner. I would not run it WOT with the injector constant jacked up that much, may find yourself too lean there.
Good luck, Ed
