c6 front brakes

i was wondering , can i put c6 front brakes up front. at work today,we did a cross drilled rotors all around with some performance pads , and i was wondering if i get the caliper bracket and the caliper, would i be able to use the factory rotors and the pads( there like brand new by the way).. just a thought...

It is doable, you'll have to modify your spindle though. I have C5 brakes on my '91, and C5/C6 brakes are identical. Do a search on "C5 brake upgrade" and I'm sure you'll get results. I know one guy on camaroz28.com put C6 wheels on his LT1 era 4th gen and later on upgraded the brakes to the C5 setup since the 18" wheels made the stock brakes look tiny.
