Default The ***** Runs

Well she finally runs, i had a problem with her blowing a coolant hose the day after, i was at about 6K RPM's and then saw nothing but white smoke behind me and thought the worse, stopped, pulled over and then i could smell the coolant, so i felt relieved. I looked at the water pump and it had blown a coolant fitting that goes into the housing, so i put some JB weld around it, pressed it back in and let it sit over night, Added coolant this morning and everything is fine. It was leaking before and not a drop now.

As far as driving, it runs very strong, doesnt like 1st gear very much, just spins the tires, which isnt a bad thing Has a little vibration up top so im going to get it re-aligned to make sure then maybe get the wheels re-balanced as well. Shifts clean and is very strong, has more top end then low end with the cam on a 110 LSA now, pulls strong to about 61ish which i hanvnt taken it further, it should pull strong up to 6800 but im not going to shift past 6500 very often. Idle's very good and lopey, its idling high right about now so when i get a dyno tune ill get him to set the idle a bit lower, preferably around 800 rpm's. But so far so good

Quickly, the set-up is a custom grind cam, headers, full exhaust (gmmg), 4.10's, Eibach pro-kit, and a lot of powdercoating and re-routing.
