i'm not gonna disagree immediatley, but comparing similair heads, i highly doubt that trick flow outdoes AFR.... of course i don't count the race ready versions or the bare castings...those are sold with porting in mind, which my have simliar numbers to the trickflows. the only thing i've ever used is the competition port series heads....i'm almost possitive the trick flows don't flow 288 max cfm out of the box....like i said, could be wrong though

I would go with the trickflow heads. For the price difference between AFR and Trickflow. The trickflow heads are cheaper, dont flow as whell as AFR out of the box. But the money you save buy trickflows you can have them ported to flow better than AFR and still come out cheaper.
