Default H-Pipe question

i've got a 97 T/A and a buddy of mine can get me a good deal on a set of heads and a full exhaust system for my car. they are a set of professionally redone LT1 heads that have been reshaped, ported and polished (don't know much about them except they came off a race car). the exhaust starts with a set of long-tube headers to an H-Pipe and then to flowmaster mufflers and out the back. the only thing is, i'm not a real big fan the "flows." up until he made this offer i was set on getting the GMMG cat-back. any recommendations on how to go about this? should i suck it up and live with it, or is there a way to work the gmmg in with the system without sacrificing performance? thanks for the help.

personally if it were me, I would keep the set up you're getting and change the mufflers out. Bullets or something like that.

Some people prefer the sound of the gmmg over true duals set ups. But If you are gonna go with duals take out the flows and go with bullets. You will get better ground clearance and a better sound than flowmasters.
