I really like those valve covers, and found them for $200 shipped.

Actually, they are Vette valve covers. They were on Vette LT1's way before an LT4 (which was made for the Vette as well) ever came out.

I dont have any good pictures to show you but, I have the stock alternator in the stock location and there's no issues with it.

Thanks for all the replies so I assume that I can use the stockers if I make the modifications...that were laid out in the pictures by BuffMan or the other
option is the cantons

But IF you use a narrow body rocker you dont have to do anything but bolt the covers on. My COMP aluminum rockers clear without modifications, Pro Mags may need the bending mods, but I think even they clear.

If you use 7/16" studs, I believe they are taller than std and require a taller cover to clear the poly lock. At least they were on my buddy's car, but there's no telling if he ordered the right ones or not.
