Default How do I check the MAF sensor wires?

How do I check to see if the PCM is good?

Backprobe your wires with a multimeter. Three wires: power (5 volts), ground, and signal wire (PCM). I forget what the PCM gets at idle, but I assume it will be low. Then get higher with more thottle. Thats how you do it, but someone should know what the readings should be.

Then why are you concerned about the MAF? Make it run first.

Someone said the car won't run if it's bad, but then someone else said it would default to speed density. I'm beginning to think the PCM might be bad.

if the MAF sensor is bad, the car can be made to run SD by unplugging it.
