Have you ever seen the LT1 bushings? That sounds right. I felt similar when I saw them and even tried holding them up to the tubular K-member and couldn't figure how they fit but, it will be very evident when you see how the originals are positioned. This is the bigger bushing that goes on the passenger side:
This is the smaller of the two that goes on the driver side:
you'll have to reuse the brackets that house the original bushings and your new bushing may have come with instructions about this. Should have come with a few nuts and bolts too.
also one of my motor mount bolts are missing??? lol driver side and yes we did put it in there
