Default Alright...

I just got done putting my car completely back together and I have no spark coming out of the ignition coil. It was working before I put the car together and all the clips are plugged into the coil. I relocated the battery to the trunk. I mention that because thats what I assume the problem stems from. All the lights in the dash turn on fine and it cranks strong. Just no spark. Any and all suggestions are welcome, even absurd ones that I might find humorous, I could use some cheering up.

Did you replace the coil as well or just reinstall the old one? I dont really know much about the ignition, but you may want to check that as well as fuses/relays. Im sure someone will chime in that can give you more help than I can

All the fuses are fine. I just installed the old one back on. It worked previously, is it possible for an ignition to go bad just sitting there? What about grounds? Is there a ground I could have missed that would mess up my ignition but nothing else? Again, all the dash lights work and it cranks strong.

Just replaced my ignition coil and still nothing. Just to make sure its not my opti, how can I test to see if there's spark coming out of my coil? I've been testing for spark by taking out a spark plug and grounding it.

It was the long connector that goes into the top of the opti. One of the prongs in the opti was bent so it looked like it was in but wasnt.

Thanks for all the help fellas
