I'm running self-aligning Comp Pro-Mag 1.6 rockers with comp 918's on my car. and have been doing so for over a year now. great quality rocker, did a VERY minimal amount of grinding on the valve cover to fit.

I heard somewhere, that the majority (something as high as 90%) of valve-train related engine failure is caused by rocker arm failure.

$170 bucks for a set of cheap rockers, or $300 bucks for proven ones... the $130 dollar difference is well worth the idea that I won't have to spend $800 to $1000 for a new short block if the rocker lets loose and you drop a valve.

that's up to you, russian roullet if you ask me though.

I like mine, when I open the box last December just looking at them I went, oh so thats why they cost over $300. Haven't had any issue with mine, been on the car 30k or so.
The way they sound, should last a long *** time.

Taubr, that top pic is them, I have no idea what those are in that ebay auction. The ebay ones also look like they would weigh more than the promags.

The "Hi-Tech Stainless rockers" are not simply pro-mags in stainless. They are different rockers and an upgrade to the Pro-Mag rocker.
