okay so where are the pics. im doing braided fuel lines and have all the parts. i'm just waiting on my engine so i can cut the line to the proper length. i'll be deleting the EVAP system completely but if there is a way to avoid a fume smell i'm down.

I don't have pics but I also didn't go with braided lines, mine looks stock under the hood except there are only 2 tubes leading from the fender to the motor, and I also pulled the hardline from under the car and put a little filter (cheepy crank case filter off the shelf at the local parts store) on the end of the rubber fitting that attached to the hard line at the back, the filter isn't really needed, I just didn't want bugs or anything crawling into the tank from the open line...

Is there a functional point to this at all? or is it mostly just simplicity and looks???

the evap line runs with the fuel lines. if you notice i don't have that ugly tube on the driver side which houses all the lines. evap deleted fuel lines were done with steel braided lines and re routed.

so as long as you leave the bigger rubber hose connected to the canister you can remove the other two small hoses? the bigger one is the gas tank vent correct?

Just to help you out. If you have Windows 2000, XP, Vista (or a variation of those), you don't need any camera software. Windows has a built in "Wizard" that takes care of it all. Camera software (along with Printer and/or Scanner) I find to just be added bulk to your system, and some of them add quite a few start-up programs which can slow start up and hurt system performance

Here's a question for you guys: Why not relocate the EVAP? Under the front bumper or (a bit more involved) back by the gas tank or elsewhere under the car. Quite a few newer vehicles have undercarriage EVAP systems, some even have ABS down there :S

you'd need to buy a vacuum plug for the tb. i needed one for the hard line too but if you're deleting that you won't need it. you'll also need something to cover the vent hose from the tank to prevent things from getting in there. also you'll throw a code once you remove the evap solenoid. you can program that out or just drive with the check engine light on.

are you talking about the lines under the car? if so I'm not sure since I never messed with the lines back there.

Ok, i pulled the canister and got rid of the engine bay hoses. I have the three lines coming out that went INTO the canister. Since the canister is gone, do I just cap the three lines or should i still vent them somehow? If so, which ones do i cap and which ones do i vent? Thanks

thats the same question i had. i assume you leave the bigger diameter hose alone(which i believe is the one from the gas tank) and can plug up the two smaller ones.

Actually plug them or vent them somehow? or is the bigger diameter hose the vent, and i can just let that dangle there? Would i need a vented gas cap too?
