Default Hooker Mufflers?

my car is in the shop having my 383 put in. right now i have the stock exhaust piping. i have pacesetter mids and y-pipe, gutted cat and a flowmaster. i want to run duals and im thinking about doing it while the car is already in the shop. the shop says they use a lot of hooker mufflers. i want to know if anybody has heard hooker mufflers or knows anything about them, im not sure which hooker muffler they are talking about tho. but at this point, im ready to try something new after being on a flowmaster for years.

EDIT: they are hooker max flows, straight through design with baffles and the stuff (i forget what its called).

A buddy of mine had a hooker muffler on his 383, and it sounded very raspy. He didnt like it and took it off.

they are hooker max flows, they are supposed to be deep sounding but a straight through design. all the clips i heard sound pretty good. this will be on a dual setup. any other opinions?

I have a full Hooker set up on my ls-1 from headers all the way out back, and it surprisingly sounds deep compared to most. ls-1's have a tendency to sound rather raspy imo, but it def. sounds quite different than many ls-1's I've heard. Best of all is the price.
