I get about 16/24, and have gotten 340 out of a tank before with all highway running. I do so much mixed driving it's hard to nail the numbers down.

Hey, all,

It strikes me that a natural question to accompany this thread is: has anyone datalogged the computer outputs on the road and/or pursued having the computer tuned to address "inadequate" fuel mileage? The Merv's comment about being rich especially begs this question. Naturally, all other maintenance variables should be addressed first; new filters, plugs, plug wires, but I wonder what kind of improvements might be available with a fresh tune?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Cheers -- Gary

I understand your question... but I really don't see why people complain that their modified Camaro or Trans Am is getting bad gas mileage. Buy a Honda if that's your main concern. The way I see it is that I'd rather sacrifice gas mileage to have a loud, fast muscle car.

I can pull about 18mpg in town and 23-24ish on all highway. This is on 3.23s.
