Putting in ARP main studs for stock windage tray in my block. The ARP stud lacks the length of the GM bolt where it goes into the block. It is about 1/8" shorter.
1. Will there be any issue with the ARP stud having about 1/8" less threads?
2. Does the stud have to be fully screwed in till it stops? If this is the case then these ARP's are way short.

First the 1/8 inch is not a big deal. The problem looks like the stud is not screwing all the way in. Did you run a tap down the bolt hole to clean it out. This is VERY important if you had the block cleaned by way of baking and shotpeening. ALL the holes will need a tap ran down to clean up. Make sure the stud goes all the way down in the the hole also. Have see but a rare the bolt hole has a edge that dont let the stud seat right.
Hope this helps

The problem is if the windage tray studs are screwed all the way in then there is nothingto attach the windage tray to. These three longer ones have to be 1/8" from being threaded all the way in the block.
The others are no issue, just the three for the windage tray.
