Default option......

well, finally looked at the option codes in my glovebox to my '93 Z28 that I bought two weeks ago. Car needs new paint.....previous owner didn't do too well painting over the stock red.
Other then that it runs pretty well, although its alot slower then the 98 Formula I drove.
It was cheap anyways.....

Anything in the codes I should know?
I see its got the 3.23 gearing, I thought it had the 2.73's because its not very fast.....maybe somethings causing to be slow?
owell, its not stock for long.

Yes.......it had a tuned tranny that was scarry to drive in the rain.....I totalled that one on a wet road when it downshifted unexpectedly
Hadn't had the time to retune it after I bought it......atleast insurance paid me more then I spent on it

Maybe I'm just dumb, but where is the hatch release? I cant seem to find it, and have to always use the key to open it.

In the glove box.

But you do realize that is an LT1, can't really compair it to the 98 you test drove.

haha, I didn't test drive the 98, I owned it....not that long either.
yup, I know its different....but it is more comfy driving, with less power of course.
For some reason the 98 had a much more bumpy suspension.

Ok, now your 2nd post makes sense. Couldn't tell that you owned the 98.
Going from an LS1 to a LT1 will make you think it is slow or something wrong with it. Best thing to do is take it to the track and see what 1/4 mile times you get. If your in the 15's, then it's slow.
