Finally got my car back. Alright a little while back I was explaining how my car would just start to lose all power and pop like crazy and then it would just die. well what had happpened was my passenger side CAT somehow just decided it was going to hollow itself out. When it did, the pieces would get jammed in the pipes and wouldnt allow air flow. so instead of replacing the CAT, we just decided to hollow out the other one as well and now i have straight pipes from the head back. Its nice and loud now with a little extra get up. My only question is would that mess up the 02 sensors causing my car to stutter at times?
Also after I got her running again, the Tach doesn't work and now she doesn't start right away. I would crank it and it seems like it wants to start then do it again and same thing and then third time, she would fire right up. Just wondering if that could be bad starter or do you guys think it could be the distributer or fuel related. Also my spark plugs were just recently changed. Thanks
