Thee crank sensor is used in our engines to monitor the rotational speed of the crankshaft. It sends signal to the PCM, ignition system, and timing. Crank sensors are usally comprised of one or more magnets, and an inductive coil (Hall Effect Sensor). The beauty of this sensor is that we can measure the normal relationship between the ID or sync pulse and the reference pulse. PM me and I'll try to help you out with your problem.
