got my 95 polo green z28 about 9 months ago, from a guy that had a procharged 383 in it, coolest part is he did a bunch of work and kept all the stock pieces, he returned it back to stock (minus motor and tranny) i bought it, put a brand new motor in it and found the guys that bought his 6 speed, put it back together for less than 2200 in the whole car, 70k on the clock, bone stock, tan leather t tops, mint condition....
i recently added black ss wheels stereo and soon intake and exhaust
ive been offered as much as 5700, 5500 by 2 others...

i'm in the same boat. except i have a very limited budget. its tough to find a clean LT1 around me for about 5k. it sucks.

Yeah I had a hard time finding a car under 100k miles I found one locally for 88k miles and he kept the car in great shape. You just need to keep looking you will find one out there.
