i have a 355 sbc that i am taking apart and parting out....and it has comp 1.6 rr ....my question is will these rr work on on my z????.im sorry if this is a stupid question but i rather asked it now then pull the valve covers and have them not work

 

Probably not, LT1 rockers are self-aligning. Get the part no. off the old rockers just to make sure.

LT1 needs narrow body RRs, so you'd need LT1 guide plates and hardened pushrods and new valve covers to clear the rockers. All you can really do is test fit.

The short answer is no, you can't.
