Stock opti with MSD cap and rotor works well.
The Accel opti is exhibiting problems and seems to be VERY much so a low buck reproduction of the stocker. The whole MSD opti has some nice "features" that will just cause someone like you to get yourself into more trouble, leave it for guys who really know what they are doing and how too use the features it offers.
The opti getting wet is also not a fraction as bad as all the idiots here would have you believe. IMO get a cap and rotor for the current opti and clean it out well when you do the WP.
