Question What's it worth...

Wondering if anyone can help me with this. I spun a rod bearing on my LT1 motor last week. I then bought a "good" Used LT1 engine for $900 that upon dissablembly had a spun bearing ... So now I have two motors with spun bearings (the guy won't take it back)

Sooo... here's the question

Whats a used LT1 with a computer worth. It's a complete long block with intake fuel rails Throttle body and heads (supposdly has 40,000 Miles on it and looks like that might be true, it's pretty clean inside) Would I be better off selling as one whole piece with the bad bearings... or would I be better off parting it out... like selling the heads and intake and throttle body and CPU all separate?

Just trying to get some of my money back....

any advice?

Thanks

The crank needs to be cut and polished. It'll never be right unless thats done...

unless it was sold "as is" or was advertised as "unknown condition" then it would be worth legal action to me to get my $900 back. thats my opinion of course.
