OBD1/OBD2 question

OBD1/OBD2 question Is there any reason why my 1996 OBD2 LT1 wouldnt run correctly bc it has a 1995 OBD1 computer?? Also will a scanner be able to communicate with the computer since the harness has an OBD2 connector??
