A/C doesnt work...never has....possibly compressor?
A/C doesnt work...never has....possibly compressor? Well i figure since the motor is apart and i have the A/C out i am going to completeley delete it OR replace something. What are the chances of the issue being with the compressor. Is there anyway to test the compressor to see if its the issue? How often is the compressor the issue? ( i refilled the lines with A/C once and it flew cool for about 5 minutes then stopped )

Well sorry for the hijack....idk much about a/c...but mine worked great 6 months ago and seems to heat the air now.....anyone got any quick checks/fixes i can look into....i like riding with windows down but it just seemed to quit overnight

The compressor in my g/f's car has a bad clutch. If you can disconnect the connector from the compressor (good luck, not an easy thing to do) you can see if yiour getting voltage down to the connector. if you are, and the clutch isn't engaging, bad clutch.
