can somebody explain to me exactly why i need an ac delete pulley? i may also be losing some other acessories, so do they make power steering or air pump delete pulleys? why cant i just run a shorter belt instead of buying delete pulleys?

you didnt even mention what car you have??? stuff will be in the way have you even looked to see why you need them? the water pump in one spot is very close to the belt and unless you were just running an alternator and no idler with a custom bracket for the tensioner i would say you need them prollay both of them just look at your motor or a picture of your motor and you will see why. heck just look at the belt routing diagram under the hood

 

Air pumpm is on the other side not ran by a pulley yes you do need the ac delete pulley or some kind of alternator relocation kit which still uses and extra pulley why do you want to lose Power steering.

sorry its a 96 b-body lt1. i cant look at it right now because i dont have the accessories yet. does anybody have a pic of the air/smog pump? thanks guys
