my water pump went..im just going to buy a oem replacement...do i need to take the optispark out to change the pump?...or is it just like doing a conventional sbc pump..just the bolts and swap it?..thanks for the help

 

unbolt it from the motor and keep track of the connecting rod between the pump and the gear drive. Make sure you use alot of RTV seal on the bolts when your installing it or they tend to leak. Any more questions, feel free to PM me. I've done it way to many times
