Default What numbers should I be getting?

I just put a cam in my girlfriends car and I dont think that it put down as much as it should. I also put in some jet hot ceramic coated long tubes,3" true dual exhaust with flo pro twisters, it already had some lt4 roller rockers, and a 2000 stall. What would you guys think are good hp and tq numbers for this set up. The cam is a 224/236 .538/.542 on a 114 lsa. The car is a 96 A4.

That is what I was thinking too but the damn thing only made 300 hp and 310tq. The guys who tuned it were saying that it was pretty good, but I think it should have done a lot better.

The cam is surprisingly choppy, I didnt think it was going to sound the way that it does, I could only imagine it on a 112 or a 110.

Ya, I really cant have her beating me anyway. I honestly think that I am having a tuning issue, because she said before the tune the car felt really fast, and when we got it back yesterday from the tuner it really didnt feel like it had any *****. It also doesnt shift 2-3 when you get on it. I dont think they have enough pressure in the lines, causing the clutches to slip. Thus making the dyno results incorrect. Thoughts??

the 2-3 shift is controlled by the PCM. They fugged that up if it won't shift. Dyno #s are low for cam only as bolt ons are making more, but another dyno tune may cure your problem. Check your A/F ratio and make sure your O2 sensors are working. You could have an internal problem but it doesn't seem to be that.

Ya we are going to drop it off tonight, the people who tuned it are kinda leaning towards a tranny problem and he really doesnt really want to put it back on the dyno. He better re-dyno it but I have a feeling he is going to try to say that it is the tranny.

When we did the cam swap we pulled the engine changed every seal on the motor cleaned the heads cleaned the intake manifold cleaned the entire motor changed out anything that was bad, worn, including the opti spark. The motor was like brand new when we put it back in.

That is a bit suprising. I recently had my car dynoed and it running on stock tune. I have unported heads and the cam is cc305 .544/.544 220/230 w/ 1.6 promag rockers and 112lsa. on the stock tune it put down 304 hp and 345 tq. it also has 2000 stall like your gf's. Other mods include full intake, pacesetter longtubes and corsa cat-back, stock gears

Well I dropped it off at the shop last night, and they just called and told me that it was the tranny. I think they blew the clutches out when they were tuning it. Its BS the car was fine when it went in there and now its fucked. When we pulled the transmission the casing was cracked so we replaced the casing and when the guy did that he said the clutches were on their last stretch so he replaced them with some good used clutches, and now they are fucked. Its Bullshit, I hate mechanics seems like they cant ever get anything right, and they just screw stuff up. I should have just gotten a mail order tune and saved $200 and the tranny. If I am being a little girl about this let me know but I do know that the car was fine before the tuner got a hold of it.
