Help with build direction
September of last year my car suffered an engine fire at the track. No major damage. Easily rebuildable. I'm gonna pull the motor, and am looking for a change. Right now the car has a somewhat fresh 355 with stock replacement internals with about 2500 miles on it, but probably 100 NO2 runs at 150 shot. The car runs 11.2's on spray and a shot clutch, and I'm looking to go low 10's on a TH350 and some extra sauce.
Now, since the motor is already .030 over, can I plug a balanced stroker kit in? The really important question is, what has to be changed in the tune to account for the additional ci? I'm in Anchorage AK so a dynotune is out of the question. I've got my car tuned right now with Tunercat.
Would it even be worth it to go to othe 383, or should I go .040 and 396? Or should I just forge out the 355 and keep stock displacement?
