LT1 head gasket

LT1 head gasket I'm lookin at an LT1 with a blown head gasket.. what are the chances of anything else being messed up? After the gasket was blown it was shut off and only driven like a 1/4mi after. What kind of work would need to be done? what's a rough price and labor? i'm totally new to V8 labor

if there was water in the oil they took out the bearings by driving it but if not you should be alright i think labor is about $1400 to have someone do it. just get some tools out and doit yourself it takes about 12hrs start to finish. make sure you get the heads checked

chatt. im on SCF aswell. worst case would be hydraulic'd a rod(bent). if driven much it could have hurt the bearings aswell. what caused it to blow? theirs usually a reason (n2o, fan not working, airpocket in cooling system, bad waterpump). i can cut you a deal on the labor (alot better than what is quoted). also, when replacing the head gaskets use the 1074 felpro's(jegs or summit). the felpro's most local autoparts sale are junk.

Yeah Matt is selling it.. its puffing out some white smoke after about a minute of idling.. what kinda prices can you get me? PM if needed
