Default What is cheaper?

I bought pacesetter LT's and then bought a y pipe. The Lt's came with flanges and the y-pipe is made to slip on. Would it be cheaper to cut the flanges off or to have a ,muffler shop put flanges on the y-pipe?

Since when did they come with flanges? You sure it is pacesetter?

To answer you question, it would probably be easier to cut off the flanges...

But, as stated before I don't think these are Pacesetters if they have flanges unless you had the flanges welded on to attach the previous exhaust system before getting the Y-pipe. And if they are not the same then no matter what you do, cutting the flanges, or having flanges welded on won't matter because they may not match up...

just so people know this were my old headers and i had the flanges welded on because instead of buying a y-pipe i could have one custom made cheaper and for me 3 bolts on each header to drop the exhaust was a lot easier to me than messing with slip fit stuff, just so you know cycon when i had the exhuast made they only charged me like 40$ to put the flanges on the headers, so it shouldnt be any different to do the same thing with the ORY, just depends on the shop you take it to, its pretty much your preference on how you want it done

i just want it to work lol. Ill give a call to the local muffler shop. i wont need it installed by them but they'll need my y-pipe to make sure the flanges fit. Or maybe they can put on flanges that rotate around the pipe. I dont know ill do research.
