Default 4l60-e Trans pump seal

does anyone have experience or advice when changing this. since my motor is out iut seems like the perfect time. my trans is sitting the same way as in my sig can it be done with it still in or not.

you dont have to but if you do pull the trans out its much easyer. youll need to pull the trans pump out completely if you are going to reseal it, by the way youll get a lot of trans fluid all lover if you dont take the trans out and do it, theres a lot of trans fluild inside the trans even if you drain the trans pan.

ok thx for the help I will probably just put a catch pan under the trans when I pull the pump.

Im sorry i forgot to mention that youll have to take the pan down and remove the TCC to get the pump off. if you dont the TCC will break and youll have a hard time pulling the pump off.
