put a 180 thermastat in, check engine light on.

i dont know, i didnt think the car came with a 180 thermastat stock, and the guys at autozone said it was normal on anycar when putting in a lower temp thermastat. Anyway, my car is a 93 so where could i get it checked at, it isnt obd2

I ALLWAYS avoid going there unless Advance Auto parts is out of stock and I HAVE to have a part.
I thought stock ours were 180 also.
Id get a 160.
