Alan,
That is mint man.
Can you imagine the slower guys at the track? I mean the guys running 19.00? They scream for 11 seconds and catch their breathe for 2 then continue screaming till the trapsl

lol! Anyways, hardly anyone goes .060 over on their motor, many LT1 blocks won't even pass the sonic check to do it.
I'm running ~11.5:1 compression on a .030 LT1.

or are you looking for all out ***** to the wall drag racing with no concern for DD?
(Or something in between)
I won't lie to you, bragging right sometimes outweight having to put up with
poor street manners. The older I get, the more I lean towards giving up a
few HP and .10ths for every day driveability.

). That's one reason Lloyd recommeded a small emissions cam for my setup. The return is a very flat torque curve all the way through the usable RPM range. It makes no less than 350 lb-ft of TQ from 2000 through 5700rpms with a peak of 366 lb-ft. The car pulls HARD from 1500 to 6500 rpms.Attention to detail and the combination of supporting parts is the key to exceptional performance. That's why you should figure on 2x the estimated cost!!
