will it run for a little without a tune

i have a 94 z i recently did a comp 503 cam
az speed and marine headers
heads shaved
valve job
new springs
1.6 roller rockers
heads are ported and polished and intake is matched
58mm throttle body with 36lb injectors
egr and air delete

From what my machanic told me the only cam you can get that wont need a tune is the lt4 hot cam kit, it probally wont run very long and it's not a good idea.

it should run for about 5 minutes then Die. Do not run more than that because you could get cylinder wash. The computer will notice the air fuel is incorrect and addlots of fuel to correct the imbalance just to keep it running. Computer will eventually relize what it did and the car will die or the cylinder wash will coat the rings.
