4L60-E Stall Converter needed

I have a 1994 Z28 convertable with about 450 whp and about 570 tq on juice. I just had my transmission built to withstand anything. I ran my car at the track about 4 weeks ago with a stock stall and 4:10 rear end gears. I ran a 11.59 1/4 mile time and a 7.46 1/8mile time. What kind of stall will i need to get and where do i get it. Who is the best for the price. instant responce needed. What kind of setups are you guys running and how much improvement?

contact any TC builder (Fuddle, Performabuilt etc). TCI and B&M are an off the shelf style but can get you a general range. Tell them your setup and they can help you. If you have a dyno graph, that's even better. They can build it off your powerband. Judging from your estimated n/a hp, I say at least a 3200. I hope you either have a window switch or activate the juice manually. If your spraying out of the hole on a stock TC, prepare for the worst. Nitrous isn't friendly under 2800 rpm.

Be prepared for a myriad of opinions and recommendations. This is one of the more volatile questions being asked. But I also recommend asking the manufacturers, it is what they do for a living.
Personally, I would not go to B&M, but again, that is just my opinion.
Fuddle, Yank, Performabuilt, Vigilante, all are decent TCs with varying opinions from owners. And certainly there are more brands, I just listed a few for comparison's sake.
The more important questions to ask:
What rpm stall?
What STR?
Also, be certain to install a transmission cooler prior to getting a stall. Nothing more important, as a stall will increase heat immediately.

Yank PT for all motor setups.

Yank PY for spray cars.

As noted in the other thread you have open, my times are below with my Yank, 1st pass out.

Edge Racing Converters great balance of performance and a good price. My best 60ft, is 1.614 with just a 3400 stall, 3.73s and 27" Hoosier QTPs in a full weight b-body with street shocks. This converter hit the tires hard but the chassis can take it so it works.
