Need help! Problem installing MSD opti
I had zero problems with the water pump going back on. Check the splines on the water pump drive, if they arent lined up perfect the pump sometimes doesnt want to go back on. get them lined up and give the water pump a couple of whacks with a rubber mallet 
. that is if there is sufficient clearance between the water pump and the opti, Also like said above, is the opti seated 100%

Well everything was seated properly. Compared water pump to old one lying around and for some reason mine was about an 1/8th thicker. It has been replaced but was supposed to be an OEM replacement when I bought it. All prior opti's fit fine under the same pump.
Had to grind down the pump on two sides very slightly and got a perfect fit.
Runs like a champ off the MSD opti. Noticeable difference right away.
