383 Stroker??
383 Stroker?? Im looking to make my Lt1 into a racecar but not sure what kinda stoker kit to get. I mean I want something that can handle race gas and nitrous. I wanna run 10s but dont know how to get there. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
You definitely want to go fully forged on the bottom end, as to run 10's you will be pushing a good amount of power. I would recommend 4 bolt mains as well. When you order pistons, be sure to specify the nitrous shot that you will be running, as some pistons handle spray much better than others. To run 10's, the car will require some major changes as well. Suspension, rearend, transmission, etc.... should all be upgraded. You can build as much motor as you want, the key is putting it to the ground.
Transmission is TH350 and rear end is moser 9". As for suspension is still stock. Im just really wanting to know what kinda heads everyone is going with and should I go carb?
