Exclamation 3 Cams????

Ok so we have a motor finally, its a LT1 out of a 94 Vette.. were going to do a stock 350 rebuild and port and polish the vetter heads and get the manifold port matched, besides that the car has long tubes, and 3.73's.. but i was wondering what cam we should go with, we currently have a LT4 hot cam..
we are looking at useing the CC306 or the CC503.. would they make any better choice for this motor or does any one else have other cams that would work good in a Street car that will see the track and be driven mostly on the weekends so we really dont want a huge cam, just mild.. thanks

IMO if you really port out the heads you should go with the cc306. If it will just be like a basic home port than cc503. I have the 503 on stock heads and love it! Idles perfect with the tune and a noticeable increase in power! You can search my threads for sound clips. You may also want to look at the 230/236 cam from Comp.

For what you want to do I'd look at the LPE 211/219 .533/.560 or the wee bit bigger 219/219 .560/.560 both on 112 lsas. They are both outstanding cams with great driveability and nice power/torque...I ran the 211/219 cam for years in my 383 and it went high 11s/low 12s while still being great for a DD and passed MDs strict emissions...You won't be happy if you go too big...
