Need help aligning hood
Need help aligning hood Got my WS6 Style Hood and Airbox. Got the airbox and hood on, but the hood is raised on the passenger side and is too high in front around nose and headlights. A lot closer on driver side but still off. Have the same size gap all the way around between fenders and nose.
What do you adjust to make it fit better? Stops are down all the way. Hood latch is as low as it can go. There is no play.

I too had this problem with the ultra-Z hood. This is the strange little trick that you have to remember. If you raise the back of the hood on the hinge or raise the back of the hinge on the fender the hood will go up. If you raise the "front" of the back of the hood ON THE HINGE or the hinge to the fender it will go down. What you have to remember is you are working with a pivot point in the hinge, not a stationary part. I had to take the bracket itself off the car (passeger side) and modify it a little in order to get the hood to sit lower the way I needed it. Not saying you will have to but it just depends on how far off you are.
