Default stock tune?

I have a PCMforless tune for cam and full bolton but now I'm stock except for stall and headers. How do I put the stock tune back in for now, until I can afford a new tune? Thanks

Not sure what you're asking.

The tune is stored on the PCM so if you sent them your PCM and they put the tune on it, you need to buy a new one. Check Ebay.

Yea, aside from overwriting your current tune with the stock one, you'd have to get a new ECM and hold onto your current.

I did the email tune where I uploaded Byran's tune ffrom my laptop. I have the stock tune but the program will only let me upload his tune. I just don't know what to type in to get my stock tune to upoad.
I'm not that great wth computers and I just got my car running again but it's running like crap so I figured it's the tune. Guess I'll just have to spend some more $$ that I don't have. I just figurd I would try the stock tune to see if it would help smooth out the motor.

Stock tune would probably be worse if I had to guess about it.

He's running all stock parts, instead of bolt ons though.

Did you try to rename the file to what the tuned one is, and then try to burn it with the program?

What's the worst that could happen if I did that? I don't have the money for a comp if I mess it up and don't want to pay to have a stock tune put in. I really believe it's the tune since Bryan told me he upped the idle and adjusted the fuel settings. The car runs out good but she's really rich and every now and then when I get on the gas she pops like it's loaded up.
Formula350, i may just try your idea if I get frustrated.

To ask the same question in a bit more detail: What program did you use to download the tune into the PCM? Is there a command that you have to enter using the keyboard or the mouse? Do you have to enter the name and or location of the file to download?

I used whatever program Bryan uses and I did have to enter a name. I dowloaded Tunercat but i believe I need the def files to make it work. I've never tuned before so I'm a little gun shy. I just don't know where to start.
Infnitebird, I PM'd over on GAFBA about tuning.

O.K. Why don't you take a screen shot of the program, with the name entered, ready to do the download? Put the screen shot in a post so we can see what you are doing. If you need instructions, PM me.

Ummm, you can do it using Windows. A camera is not required. PM me and I can walk you through it.
