I am currently at 9 psi on a stock engine. It is primarily raced and I keep good gas in her. She has been damn consistant!! Hope to shed a few pounds and get her in the 10's on stock motor(with exception of valve springs and rocker arms). I put 500 street miles on it before I went with T400 and 4.30 gear.
Keep it at 8 or below with after coolers and with a good tune you will be alright.
