my car keeps cutting out black sut is all over the rear bumper. sometimes it runs good and sometime it runs like ****. got new plugs and wires r good. Wat r some signs of O2 sensor going bad? please i need help i am supposed to go out of town this weekend and i ned to fix the problem.

 

signs for bad O2 sensors are normally backfires, the car will run rich.

 

Yup, to add to the list.....loss of power, and sputtering through the RPM

 

i have all those signs but my check engine light is not on. yall thank that matters

 

might be a good idea to check your MAP sensor.
