I'd go nitrous, and then keep the bottle out of the car unless you know you'll be racing. Otherwise you'll be using it all the time lol

I just installed Pacesetters on my car. I was impressed with the overall construction. They had nice thick flanges and used heavy guage tubing. I have used Hedmans or Hookers in the past, and I was surprised how heavy the Pacesetters were.

Mine were uncoated, so I can't really comment on that, but I have heard mixed reviews on their coating. I bought the ones with emissions hookups and ended having to cut the egr tube off just to bolt the header down. I also had to grind about 1/4 inch off of the bellhousing to clear one of the tubes.

I did a few searches, and found several people that couldn't hook up their egr on the emisions headers. Needless to say, but if you are keeping the emissions, I would look elswhere.

I agree I never got the egr tube on the pacesetters to match up therefore making me fail emissions. I would spend $100 more and get some Jet-Hot's.

Marylandspeed and ws6store have them for $500 and they are both ls1tech sponsors and for y-pipe you can either get the jet-hot y-pipe or mufflex y-pipe but both are over $200

If the Hooker Y has flanges then yes. For gaskets I would go with some Felpro 1406's and bolts I use what they come with but many people go with some good ARP's not sure which ones exactly though.
