I agree with a custom grind. The right combo, is much better than throwing a cam in a car, and hope it works ... than question why it didn't make such and such, when this person did. The 306 is a great cam, but I feel you are cutting yourself short. Just my .02.

As for the original poster, what are the goals of your car. No one can reccomend a cam without knowing what you want out of the car.

LE2 cams make better power on LE 2 heads because they are designed to match each other. Just because it makes more on a worked head doesnt always mean it'll make more on a stock head. Lloyd himself told me to run the 847 when i was asking for a custom grind.
Another cam to consider is the XFI grind 230/236. Very great cam with proven numbers.
I made 370rwhp with my set-up with a 3.90 spool'd 9" and some HEAVY *** Z06 wheels. My car traps @ 115 but hasnt gotten outta the hole to save it's life yet.....damn nitto's



GM847, and yes it's been ground by Crane for GMPP. The 306 os a good cam i just dont care for the XE lobes.
