Default header gaskets

im about to do headers and i was wondering what are the best gaskets to use i heard the GM ones but i dont no .....and dose any one change the studs and is it worth it thanks for the help

I used the felpros. Some say don't use the MR. Gasket ones. The Percy "dead-soft" ones are supposed to be really good, too.

I don't think the GM ones will work with aftermarket headers, maybe. Make sure you get the right ones.

i used napa metal gaskets, with some modifications (punch new holes) and bend the tabs down they work. 3 layers too.

Yeah, you really should use the soft ones that come already punched with the right holes.

the holes were drill punched perfectly thanks to my dad.

only thing i worry about is blowing them out. or any gasket cause i want to nail it so bad.

I know my buddy uses the copper gaskets on his turbo side. You should be ok. Not sure if those get loose easier or what, though.
