Help with this lt1!?

hey guys i got a ? for ya, My buddy has a 97 lt1 ws6, it has 130,000 miles on it and it has a misfire problem at high rpm, this problem has been in the car since the last owner at 41,000. we have replaced

optispark,plugs,wires,coils,computer,fuel rails,pumped motor on all cylinders for weak springs,maf,just about everything....

what could this problem be? we really need help!

what are you calling High RPMs? Because even with a new opti, the OE style optis are know for misfires at higher RPMs. Have you checked the Knock Sensor?

How much vacuum is it getting?

It is a MSB opti spark, so high RPMs shouldn't be a problem. I don't know if he has measured how much vaccum it is getting but i'll ask. Thanks alot. More advice is appreciated.

yea i didnt think abotu that....but also check out the little check valve that should be in place. its a lil blue thing on the vac line that goes down to the opti on the driver side
