Reached the Pinnacle
Reached the Pinnacle I got beat yesterday by an LS1 so I have decided to sell my car. I have taken all the abuse I can take. I got waxed yesterday and the only way I see my getting faster is to buy and LS1. It was nice posting here in teh LT1section but after all this is LS1...tech.com
i was on that fence last week of selling my LT1. I had my buddy always telling me my LT was **** and i should sell it and so on... I JUST paid it off and LOVE not having my loan on it. Just added a whole bunch of goodies (appearance wise and some performance) and i really love the way it's lookin'. It may not kill most LS1's but it is still feared by alot of guys. I had a modded 350z the other night that REFUSED to race me. He'd race my buddies Comp G GTP(moderatly modded) but not my Z28. The Comp G whipped him when they raced. I'm just planning on keeping the Z and now that i'm done with appearance for now i will move to stage 2, the engine

97, you're running 10.4 in the 1/4. How many people around you with LS1's are? So you got beat, that's not the end. There is so much more things you can do. Boost it, spray it, cam the living hell out of it lol. If we all gave up after losing, we wouldn't have this section.

What the hell? You run 10.4's so obviously this LS-Junk wasn't stock and had some goodies also. What the hell is wrong with you man? We need more guys like you out there running in the 10's. I don't believe this bullshit! The only way to get faster is to buy an LT1? What kind of ***** talk is that? The only way to get faster is to add some Forced Induction! Where are your ***** man!!!!???? You know what go buy your LS1 we don't want a pansy crybaby like you making LT1 owners look bad. Go on pansy boy... go get yerself a nice ***** pink ls1 to match the color of your manhood. Maybe you can had those guys from queer eye for the gay guy decorate and mod it for you too.
or go the smart route and invest into a LS2 or better yet the LS7. 
If your just looking for the motor why buy a totally new car? IMO your wasting money that could be used to get faster. But jesus if you have a 10 sec car there can't be too many cars spankin ya, at least not on the street. What did you race a 9 sec LS1 lol. Idk I laugh cause that's very rare man. It's rare to come up against a 9 sec car on an ordinary day. Cant win em all. Hate to break it too you but when you get that LS1 and the new camaro comes out you'll be getting spanked by those guys. Always someone that's gonig to be faster, if you can't except that I don't know what else to say. I've gotten spanked a handful of times. I don't get mad, I'll catch up talk to the guy and find out what he did.

how many ls1s around you run 10s like you? like said before there is always someone faster than you and you got a lt1 right now that scares alot of people even ls1 guys. spray it if you havent yet and keep in mind you are 10 sec car all motor that is badass (if you are all motor 10s without spray or power adder)
dont go out and buy a catfish ls1 car. just find a pullout and convert! i did. but ive got a built lsx with a lots of mods. so its not your regular 12 or even 11 sec car . should see the looks on the ls1 guys faces after i rip them apart in my lt1 bodied car! the vette guys are even better. however definately not a hard swap. and the best of both. bodystyle and motor!!

I higly doubt he was serious about selling a 10.4 LT1 just to start all over with - of all things - an LS1.
Surely with all his knowledge he knows it make more sense to go big cube LS2 or something if he was going to move away from an LT1 that quick.
